Rules, Registration and Staging Room

This page contains the links for both the Tournament Director and the Players to register themselves into the tournament and create their own Unique Tournament Bracket. After clicking on the links and completing the all of the necessary forms meet back here at the bottom of the page so the Tournament Director can paste the address of the Tournament into the chat room!

Tournament Registration Form

Every tournament must start with the person who has decided to "run" the tournament clicking on the "CREATE A TOURNAMENT" link below. The Tournament Director will then name the Tournament along with filling out the other fields asking for their "in-Game Name", "Name on PayPal Account", "PayPal Account Number" and "E-Mail Address" They will also pay the Entree Fee for the tournament and become Player 1 in the Tournament Roster. Once the form is completed the Tournament Director will automatically go to the following page where he will fill out the names for everyone else in the Tournament. This means you need to have all 8 players names registered and ready to go before you attempt to fill out the Tournament Roster Form. Once the Roster Form is completed and submitted the 8 names will then appear on the Unique Tournament Bracket Page. (these pages are user generated so no need to try to find an empty copy.. they do not exist) Once the Tournament Director has been to their own Unique Tournament Bracket Page with their chosen Unique Tournament Name on it they return to this page and paste the URL from that page into the chat room for the rest of those in the Tournament to see. They can copy and paste the URL into the address bar at the top of the page to go to the Tournament Bracket.

Registration Form

Every player that wants to participate in the tournament MUST fill out their own Player Registration Form. The form will ask for their "In-Game Name" that must match their name that is listed on their Builder Base. It will ask for their "Real Name" and "PayPal Account Number" Their real name must match the name on their paypal account to receive any potential winnings from the tournament. As soon as they complete the Player Registration form and click on SUBMIT the will automatically return to the bottom of this page. We have a LIVE Chat Room here for the Tournament Directors and Players to communicate back and forth in real time . As soon as the Tournament Director completes the Tournament Registration Form they will be asked to paste the URL from the Unique Tournament Bracket for your tournament into the LIVE Chat. All players that wish to see the Brackets and follow along as the tournament progresses can copy the URL and paste it into the Address Bar at the top of this page and go directly to the tournament bracket. This may seem a little more complicated than normal. You may ask, "why copy and paste URLs, why not just post a permanent link on any of the pages?" The reason for the added steps is because all of the Tournament Pages on this site are on "Dynamic Pages" and do not exist anywhere on the site until you, the users of the site fill out the forms and create them.

Tournament  Roster Form

Once all 7 Players have registered their names, in-game names and paypal information to the site the Tournament Director can click onto the box above labeled "Tournament Director Registration" and register as the 8th player in the Tournament as well as naming the Tournament with it's own Unique Name. Like the players the Tournament Director will be asked to fill out a similar form collecting PayPal info and In-Game Name along with their E-Mail Address. As soon as the initial "Tournament Registration Form" is completed they will automatically go to the next page which will be the "Tournament Roster Form Page". There they add their name again, your Unique Tournament Name again and the other 7 In-Game names (your names inside Clash of Clans Builder Base) of the Players to the Tournament Roster Form and submit the form. This will generate a Unique Tournament Bracket with all 8 names listed on it.

"OFFICIAL RULES" FOR THE CME BUILDER BASE TOURNAMENT

Thank you for your interest in Clash Made EZE's Builder Base Tournament. We have spent countless hours preparing a fair and simple way for players that want to engage in a little friendly competition by way of a head to head double elimination tournament. The "Official Rules" are here for both structure and guidelines to help everyone along what should be a quick and exciting competition. The 1st section of the official rules are geared towards the individual player. We want everyone to enjoy their experience so a few warnings about what we have foreseen as potential setbacks...

  • the tournament is an 8 person double elimination tournament. It is designed for 8 people within the same clan to compete or for an individual to make a new clan and invite 7 other players with similar strengths and abilities. This being said make sure you look at all 8 players BEFORE you agree to get into a tournament with each other. If 1 or 2 players are a Builder Hall ahead of everyone else they have an unfair advantage. It is up to you the player to join a tournament that you feel best suits you.

  • Once the "Pay to Play" feature is enabled there will be either a direct or indirect cost to play. Do not pay until everyone is sure they are going to play.

  • All payments are made through PayPal. PayPal charges the tournament per transaction so it is not possible to get 100% of your money back. If you pay to play and some or all of the other participants back out after you have made a payment, we will hold your money until you find another tournament to get into. (use the chat room above to find openings in other tournaments)

  • All tournaments must have 8 players to begin. You can NOT use the same account to fill more than one slot per tournament.

  • Tournaments are not operated by Clash Made EZE or anyone affiliated with "CME" we are not responsible for the interactions between players. We do monitor the Live Chat Room on this page and do encourage players that feel like they have been deliberately mistreated or abused during a tournament by either the Tournament Director or another player to contact us via E-Mail.

  • Any misconduct by either a Player or Tournament Director can lead to disciplinary actions that include forfeiture of any potential winning without refund and temporary or permanent bans from the Tournaments and/ or website.

  • All participants must be over 18 to play.

  • We want to encourage a safe and friendly environment along with a level playing field but we also want everyone to consider the tournament to be an "Adult Only" event. Keep this in mind when interacting with the other players. Tournament Players have a tendency to get much more emotional compaired to your average War participant so if you can't handle someone dropping the "F" Bomb after a tough loss then you should seriously reconsider joining any type of tournament competition... just sayin-

  • The tournament director is responsible for the initial matchups. They place all 8 names onto the Tournament Bracket. The fairest way to do this is to cut a piece of paper into 8 squares and draw 1 through 8, one number on each square and fold the paper up so the numbers are not visible. Place the folded squares into any container to block direct sight to them and then draw the numbers out randomly. The initial placement of players names onto the Tournament Bracket should be a random draw. NOTE-fair Tournament Directors that pride themselves on running an honest tournament will have the most return players attending their tournaments!

  • Start all four matches at the same time to begin the Tournament at a time designated, announced and agreed upon by all 8 players. Follow the flowchart on the tournament bracket as closely as possible to keep the event moving along as quickly as possible.

  • We are not assigning a specific time limit between each match due to the complexity of possibilities during the tournament... but outside of waiting for a match to end (to see who plays the winner or loser next) there should be very little wait time imposed on the players due to one or more players not being in attendance when it's their turn to play. Tournament Directors talk to the players about your expectations before the start of the tournament. **look for an amendment here in the near future**

  • the tournament is best 2 out of 3 games per match. One player has to win 2 games before the player they are matched with to win the match. in the case of a tie, the game is simply replayed. (the game not the match. if player A is ahead 1-0 and they tie, the score remains 1-0 and they play the game over again) once the match is won the Tournament Director types the names of the winner and loser in the assigned brackets. Only the Tournament Director should type into the Tournament Bracket.

  • The Tournament is double elimination. A player has to lose 2 "matches" to be eliminated from the tournament.

  • If a player loses the 1st match they can win all the way through the loser's side of the Tournament Bracket and come back to win the entire tournament.

THE FINALS

The final match can be confusing if you are not use to a double elimination format tournament. In the 1st round of the "finals" there will be an undefeated player from the "winners" side playing against the winner of the "loser's" side (see a little confusing already) The "winner" of the "loser's" side had already lost 1 match and earlier in the tournament and has won his/her way back to face the undefeated player from the "winner's" side. The double elimination rule is still in effect in the final matches of the tournament. If the undefeated player from the winner's side wins the 1st match of the finals, the tournament is over because the other player has just got their 2nd loss. If the undefeated player from the winner's side loses the match the BOTH players now have 1 loss and there is one more match to play. The final match will then decide the winner of the tournament and the 2nd place finisher of the tournament.

THE PAYOUT

As soon as the Tournament is over the Tournament Director must complete the Tournament Bracket and click the "SUBMIT" button. That will send the information from the tournament bracket over to the "Tournament Payout Dept" at that point we will file all of the information from your tournament into our database and issue the prize packages to the winners of the tournament. Please note that until this system becomes completely automated that a real person has to receive the data, process the data and then issue the release of the money to your PayPal Account. Our hours of operation are mon-fri 12pm to 8pm EST USA. We ask for 24 hours during our normal business hour to disperse the winnings. This means that anything won on Friday at 8:05PM EST USA has a deadline of 24 hours from the following Monday at 12PM or Tuesday at 12PM. We ask for 24 hours, hopefully it will never come to the full 24 hours. Someone from Clash Made EZE is online 20-24 hours a day and we hope to keep everyone pleasantly surprised with speedy payouts.

The term "Official Rules" refer to Clash Made EZE's rules and regulations for the operation of the 8 man tournament format used in relation to the Clash of Clans Builder Base Friendly Challenge mode. It does not imply that they are "Official Rules" for Clash of Clans or SuperCell. We are not endorsed or affiliated to SuperCell, sponsored by or associated with SuperCell or Clash of Clans. They are not responsible or liable for any losses that you may incur while participating in the tournament.

Our goal is to add a layer of excitement and enjoyment for our participants through the act of tournament competition. We hope to promote growth of player skills, player awareness and rekindle the need for many players to focus on the Builder Base side of the game. As independent promoters of the game we hope to raise the interest level of the Builder Base and hope be viewed as an asset to the game by both the community that we love and by those who have worked so hard to create and update the best gaming experience in the world.
