SOME OF THE FEATURES WORTH MENTIONING IN THE UPCOMING CLAN CHALLENGE UPDATE-
  • CLANS WILL BE ABLE TO ISSUE A FRIENDLE WAR REQUEST TO ANY OTHER CLAN
  • CLANS ISSUING THE REQUEST WILL SET THE PERAMETERS OF THE PROPOSED WAR WHICH INCLUDE
  • SETTING THE NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS
  • CHOOSING THE LENGTH OF PREPERATION TIME
  • CHOOSING THE LENGTH OF THE ACTUAL WAR

What this implies is that clans will be able to shorten or lengthen the prep time and battle time outside of the normal 23 hours for prep and 24 hours for war. 
​
It was also mentioned that once the war challenge was issued and the challenged clan accepts , the preperation clock will begin to count down to the start of the war.
​

If anyone had any doubts left in them on wether or not Supercell actually considers the requests of their players this should put an end to them. The requests for the possibility to conduct arranged wars or war challenges has been a hot topic on the Supercell forums since the creation of the Clan War feature back in April 2014.
​
       This new feature should be one of several in the upcoming "game changing" update that is expected to go live some time in September 2016.
        Will Supercell deliver on their promises to rekindle the love affair between the players and their top mobile game Clash of Clans?
       Will they finally be able to silence these constant calls to bring back all of the banned players that were caught using 3rd party software by introducing something to big and bold that the banned players would be willing to start over again, just so they wont miss out?
       LOL I think that may be impossible but if there was a company or an organization out there thats able to build up the hype and then deliver above everyones expectations it would be Supercell.
