
EZE'S GUIDE TO THE HASTE SPELL

Haste is similar to Rage in the sense that it speeds up the troops a LOT! It differs from Rage because it does not give the troops a boost in damage. There is a very specific use for Haste. Use it on troops that have extremely high Damage per Second but a very slow movement rate. This may seem self explanatory but I see it used improperly all the time! Remember it does not speed up the rate of attack or speed in which the troop gets the 1st swing or drop off just the rate at which they move. Here are some good uses for the Haste Spell.
USE HASTE…

With Balloons. They need the boost because they are slow and "squishy" and get smashed on their way to their targets otherwise

On P.E.K.K.A. she is often in the hot zone and taking damage from several defenses at one time. She already one shots many buildings so no need to waste a Rage on her if you have a Haste handy.

On the Witch's Skeletons. They group up and are vulnerable Splash Damage from Mortars (among others) They react so well in Haste it's like they have 2X the HP because they get to their targets so fast.

On Golem who often like to fall behind the group and will get caught inside sections of Walls after a Jump Spell expires.
Do not use Haste on troops like the Valkyrie. She is already really hast and will run too far ahead of the Tanking troops and take on too much damage. Don't use on Archers or Wizards because they are ranged troops and will stop in the middle of the spell and start shooting of, like the Valkyrie run out in front of the Tanking troops and get slaughtered! Don't use on Dragons either. They need the Rage spell to give their potent punch a deadly lift.
Remember that instead of one Rage you can bring two Haste. This is important in one of the most deadly attacks of them all the LaLoon. In TH9 you could bring 4 Rage Spells and 1 Poison Spell and carefully distribute each Rage over the Air Defenses and hope the Balloons cooperate OR you could bring 1 Rage, 1 Skeleton Spell (for use on the defending Archer Queen) 5 Haste and a Poison Spell. By bringing so many Haste Spells you have a lot more freedom to choose key locations to use the spell and are not restricted to the Air Defenses only. This is important now more than ever because players are learning how to build anti-LaLoon bases that separate the Air Defenses from the Archer Queen and the huge potential threat of the Hidden Tesla "Farm" You need more than 4 spells for a successful LaLoon on a smart defenders base so the Haste Spell is the perfect choice!
I The Haste Spell is available after the 1st upgrade of the Dark Spell Factory once you hit TH9. It is a single housing space spell like all other Dark Spells which means that you can make two Haste for every Rage Spell for example. I wanted to say that right away because that is a very important factor when deciding on using the Haste Spell over the Rage Spell.
