The ROYAL CLOAK Ability hides the Queen behind several Archers while she fires of several intense rounds from her Royal X-Bow. Talk about emasculating!

The Archer Queen is the 2nd Hero that you get in the game.
She is available in TH9. She costs 40,000 in Dark Elixir to
purchase. The Archer Queen like her lifetime companion the
Barbarian King is an immortal characters meaning she will
never die, only get injured to the point of a KO blow where
she stands in place looking dazed. She is the Damage Specialist
of the dynamic duo whereas the Barbarian King is the
Tanking Specialist. The Archer Queen may not take as many
blows as the King but she more than makes up for it with
her devastating X-Bow attack.
The Archer Queen has a special ability that starts once
she reaches LVL 5. This ability is called The Royal Cloak. When
the Archer Queen initiates the Royal Cloak she disappears for
a few moments, regains some lost Hit Points and
simultaneously summons several Archers to come to her
aid. The length of her ability as well as the number of Archers
she is able to summon depends on her ability level. Her ability starts at LVL 5 and increases in potency every 5 levels that she advances in level herself. The Archers that she summons will be the same level as the Archers that the player has in the game so if he/she has lvl 6 Archers, the Archer Queen will summon lvl 6 Archers.

When players 1st get the Archer Queen they will take immediately notice that she is able to shoot much further than Archers. This gives her the ability to outrange several defenses and shoot over walls that Archers or Wizards must break through to target the buildings behind those walls. She will be the big $$ grabber right away if used properly.. Keep in mind that she does need the protection using some sort of tanking troop, be it the King or Giants or Golem or even Pekka. However shooting down the Dark Elixir Storage is not her only talent. The Archer Queen is best known for her part in the infamous and controversial Queen Walk (or Invincible Queen in some circles) This is an advance technique used by a wide range of players from the newer TH9 players all the way to the TH11 Legend League players. I use the terms infamous and controversial because this technique was such an overpowering tactic that SuperCell was forced to alter the programming of the game! Players will use 4-6 Healers over the Archer Queen which allows her to take significant damage, even when faced with multiple defenses at the same time. They will use her ability at key points in the attack along with the use of Rage Spells on both the Healers and the Queen to boost up the Healers ability to keep the Queen alive. The Queen Walk has now been used as part of so many different attacks that she has become the Universal Soldier of Clash.
I won't get into the Queen Walk too deeply but one perfect scenario wont hurt. Many bases, especially in war, have the Clan Castle far out of reach for a normal CC pull and troop anchor. (Players do not want to start their attacks without pulling the Clan Castle troops out and eliminating them before their main attack starts.) The problem is that if they deploy their tanking troops, such as the Golem, first to absorb the front line of defenses for their main offensive troops, the enemy CC troops may pop out of the Clan Castle and set up over the tanking troops out of the range of their main fighting force with the capabilities of shooting at air troops. The enemy CC troops come out, kill the Golem and then the high damage but low HP troops like the Wizards are left to take the full impact of the front line of defenses.. Advance players have learned how to combat this scenario with the Archer Queen and the Queen Walk. They deploy the Queen with several Healers protecting her and begin to clear out the outer trash buildings. Once those buildings are gone the Queen goes to work on the front line of defenses that are standing behind the outer layer of walls. If she runs into too much resistance than a Rage Spell is used to bring the AQ's health back up to full. Once The AQ has cleared out the outermost defensive structures, advanced players can use a Hog Rider or Balloon to send over the walls, over the rubble of the defensive building the Archer Queen just leveled and once they have reached the 2nd row of defenses, the CC troops get triggered. Now as the troops exit the Clan Castle and head towards the Archer Queen, players will hold their fingers on the Rage Spell, ready to boost the healers and watch the Archer Queen plow through whatever clever composition of troops your enemy has loaded. Once the CC troops are dead the actual main body of the
attack can be deployed. The Archer Queen saves the attack before it
ever begins once again!
Another notable use for the Archer Queen is to send her around
the outside of the walls with the Barbarian King. As the main attack
goes to work on the interior of the base the Archer Queen can faithfully
follow the King and as he clears out the trash buildings along the
outside of the walls she will shoot over the walls, quickly clearing
out the defenses that are stuck shooting at the King. This
technique has earned many players the ultimate prize of the
three starred base. Remember, always keep yourself in the attack as long as possible and do not just depend on the troops to move through the base on their own. This can be accomplished with the Archer Queen by delaying her deployment and carefully monitoring her health, using her ability at the last possible moment.
A few facts to remember with the Archer Queen..

She is NOT effected by spring traps. She WILL be effected by the blasts of bombs and Giant Bombs EVEN if she is cloaked.

When using the Queens ability you will widen her presence considerably and on occasion (maybe even quite often) her summoned Archers will trigger traps as soon as she calls on them, so be aware of her health and any potential hidden traps.

Your Archer Queen, like the Barbarian King, also fights for you on defense. You do have the choice to allow her to sleep instead of standing Guard on defense. This will guarantee that when you return to the game your AQ will be ready for action and not in her recovery mode!

Using the Queens ability ability just as the Eagle Artillery is about to target her will force the Eagle Artillery to lock on to another troop but 2 factors to keep in mind. 1st if she is the only troop left then it will lock onto one of her Archers that she just summoned and 2nd the Archer Queen will still take damage from the Eagle Artillery if she is in the blast zone. This means that if the Archer Queen is the last troop standing and the Eagle Artillery targets her and shoots, she will disappear, one of the Archers will become the new target and the Queen with get hit from the blast any way because she will be close enough to the newly targeted Archer that the radius of the blast will reach her. What a mouthful!
PRO TIP- When placing your Archer Queen on your base, especially the War Base pay​ close attention to where you position her. Keep in mind that she will always be a top priority for all attackers so make sure you do not make it easy to get to her (so outside the Walls is always a horrible idea) Do what the pros do and keep her deep in the base while simultaneously separating her from other high priority targets. For example, if a player in TH9 is planning a LaLoon attack they will want to try to trigger and kill the Clan Castle troops and the Archer Queen all before they start the air portion of the raid. If you separate the Clan Castle and the Queen you force attackers to choose between one or the other which will make the air portion of the attack 5X as risky. Same goes with the Eagle Artillery in TH11. By separating the Eagle Artillery and the Archer Queen attackers will have to choose between the powerful Eagle Artillery smashing the troops or the Archer Queen sniping them from deep ion the base.
As of December 2017 (Winter Update) The Archer Queen tops our at level 50! We are in the process of gathering as much info on these top 5 levels and will post more on this ASAP!
The other balancing changes in the Winter 2017 Update which include changing the effectiveness of the Inferno Towers in both TH10 and 11 have made it necessary to reconsider the placement of the Archer Queen's alter on your map. It may be necessary to more the "AQ" closer to the Inferno Towers to help them on defense. Attackers can HEAL through the Inferno beams (unlike pre-update) so moving the "AQ" in next to an Inferno Tower may buy the Inferno some much needed time. Attacking troops will have to eliminate the AQ before moving onto the Inferno all the while the Inferno will systematically fry the closest attacker while in Single Target Mode (just a prediction at this point)

Last thing to mention is one of the few negative sides if the Archer Queen. If a player is on a specific building, such as Town Hall for example, and he/she uses her Royal Cloak ability there is a chance that the Queen will re-prioritize her target and she might begin attacking something other than the building she was on! This has been a point of intense frustration for many players.
I have heard countless times "I was on Town Hall and I had to use the Queens ability and as soon as I did she switched targets from Town Hall, killed 2 Skeletons and started shooting a collector!.. WHY?!" I will have to put some more thought into this question and get back with you on it..lol…
