EZE'S GUIDE TO THE CLAN CASTLE
The Clan Castle starts off on every village as the pile of rubble that's surrounded by rocks and trees. Once upgraded to level 1 it becomes your functional Clan Castle. From that moment forward your Clan Castle or "CC" will slowly but surely become the most powerful defensive building on your base and a "safe Zone" for your Treasury, which is where all of the Loot that you win from your daily achievements and from Clan Wars is safely held.

Right away you should be asking yourself "why did EZE call my CC the Most Powerful defensive building when it does not have a defensive weapon?!" The answer to that is simple. Your Clan Castle is where your donated Clan Castle Troops are held. When the CC is clicked on the ring that appears is the defensive "trigger Zone" as soon as enemy troops cross into that trigger zone out comes your reinforcements (if your clanmates have loaded troops there for you). Clan Castle Troops have the potential to collectively claim the highest number of hit points on your map and also collectively do the most DPS thus making the Clan Castle the most dangerous defensive building you have.

Being such an important building and factoring in that the "trigger zone" can be used as an instrumental defensive focal point, placing the Clan Castle in the dead center of your base should be a no brainer easy decision for you to make. This is the very 1st building that should be placed on the map when building your war base for sure and should be one of the 1st 4-5 buildings placed on you village too. I will give the prime example of why this is such an effective strategy...
When your base is being raided every defense with the exception of the traps are visible and can be accounted for. Players will create their strategies for dealing with all of the obstacles that your base presents to them. These are all measurable and predictable defenses. By clicking on each defense and notating their range attackers can devise clever plans to to divide and conquer your base. And then there is the Clan Castle and the troops that reside within the Clan Castle, they are a permanent wild card that even the best plans may not be able to account for. If the Clan Castle "trigger zone" is deep enough inside the base and attackers can not simply "PULL" the CC troops out of the CC with a couple of troops then they are going to have to deal with them in mid attack. The end result is often much different than the attacker plans because in the Multi Player world they have no idea if there are even troops in the CC never mind what they are. On the 1st attack on you base in war they can scout the CC and tell how many troops are in the CC but they do not know what they are... both of these scenarios can lead to devastating results for the attacker. So without going off on a 5 page explanation as to why this building is so important lets leave it with... its such an important building because if used properly it provides the defender with artificially intelligent troops that can jump walls and pursue attacking troops and there is no way the attacker knows for sure exactly what they are going to do. This element of surprise along with the potential to house maxed troops give the Clan Castle bragging rights over even the toughest defenses.

Some tips for loading you defensive War Clan Castle. 1st do not be predictable. Loading a Dragon in everyone's Clan Castle may provide the Clan some defensive muscle but the predictability of the Dragon coming out every time allows players to plan for and make adjustments to their attacks to deal with them Mix up the Defensive War Clan Castle, making every player's CC unique. In addition to that keep in mind that there is an association with the troop's housing space that the attacker uses to "pull" the defenders CC troops out with and what actually comes out of the defensive Clan Castle... sound confusing? It is a little.. What this means is that if the "trigger zone" is crossed by a very small amount with an Archer (1 housing space troop) and there is 30 spaces in the defending Clan Castle that was filled with an assortment of 20 different smaller troops there is a high probability that NOT all of the CC troops stored in the CC will come out to defend. Some will come out and the remainder of the troops will wait until there is a more dangerous threat than a 1 housing space troop. This will confuse attackers quite often and the attackers, thinking that all of the troops have been pulled out and dealt with will commence their main attack and drop Defense Only troops like Giants and once the Giants enter the base the rest of the troops come out and attack the defenseless Giants thus ending the raid prematurely. so.. mix up those defensive Clan Castle Troops, you won't regret it!

The final noteworthy element associated with the Clan Castle (there are more but you will have to go to our You Tube Channel and watch them!) is that your Treasury is located inside the Clan Castle. We have a great page on it but a brief reminder to all.. the treasury is the most secure location for your loot. Attackers get a TINY % of loot if the Clan Castle is taken during a raid so keep that loot in there as long as you can! With that being said you DO need to check your treasury BEFORE the end of every war because if your treasury is full when the war ends you WILL LOOSE the loot you so deserving earned from your Clan War!

BTW pull the CC troops on offense, any way you can! Do it every attack that you possibly can to get in the habit. Take that giant ? out of your raid!
