
EZE'S GUIDE TO THE LIGHTNING SPELL

Lightning is the 1st spell that we get once we build the Spell Factory. It starts off very weak and is best use on defending Clan Castle troops. Players should try to multi task the Lightning Spell right away meaning attempt to strike the defending troops AND dangerous buildings at the same time. In the lower levels (which is when you get Lightning) try to knock out defenses that deliver splash damage. They really beat up the lower level troops!
As the Lightning advances in level it becomes much stronger. Use 2 Lightning spells to eliminate most of the splash damage defenses and once you get more spells and can use combinations of spells both regular and Dark Spells, use the Lightning in combination with the Earthquake Spell to take down those tougher defenses like the Air Defenses.
Once your in TH7-8 your primary offensive weapons will be (at least for a period) the Dragons. Dragons are tough as nails but are still no match for the Air Defenses. Players use one Earthquake and two Lightning Spells to kill one Air Defense and then arrange their Dragons in a way as to get to the remaining "AD" as quickly as possible BUT there is a little more that can be done to help this raid to reach is maximum potential. In WAR most Clans will fill their defensive Clan Castles with potent troops that can and will cause problems if not taken care of ASAP. So, drop the Earthquake Spell on the desired AD and then begin your raid from a direction that would cause the defending Clan Castle troops to cross over the AD that you have already Earth-quaked... Once the troops exit the Clan Castle and head towards your troops and are closing in on that AD that you have Earth-quaked, drop the two lightning spells! Time it to where you hit both the AD and their CC Troops for the double whammy, shake-n-bake, party time if you land it and kill them all strike! This will take some practice and patience to get down but the rewards are not only entertaining but they get your mind thinking about how you can multi-task throughout various stages of your attacks, a much needed skill to hone in on as your climbing up the ranks of C.O.C.
