
EZE'S GUIDE TO THE HEAL SPELL
The Heal Spell is the 2nd spell that you get as you upgrade your Spell Factory. It is a very effective spell at all levels of play with only a few exceptions. !st one is a big one too, Heroes heal at 1/2 normal troop rate so that's something you should keep in mind if you have to decide to burn your last Heal Spell and you have to choose between a Hero or regular troops.

The Heal Spell lasts for 12 seconds at all levels and disperses
bursts of healing in what is called "pulses" at regular intervals every
1/3rd of a second. It effects all troops in its 5 tile radius and can
be stacked on top of one another to increase the potency of the
healing power. The spell has a limit to the amount of HP a troop can
regain per spell which means that in heavily congested areas where
there is heavy defensive fire the Heal Spell can be overpowered and
the troops within the spell die anyway. When using the spell be
mindful of the direction that your troops are going and try to lead
the troops with the Heal as best as you can to try to keep those
troops inside that spell for as long as possible.

There are several troops that do not function very well without
the assistance of the Heal Spell, Miners and Hog Riders to name the
two that are at the top of that list. Advanced players map out these
troops' potential pathing and lay out the Heal Spells in front of
where they are headed (not where they are) and by doing this they
manage to keep these moderate hit point troops at full health for
an incredibly long period of time.

Another very important technique in using the Heal Spell is to
locate (or have a really good idea) the Giant Bomb and sets of
double and now triple Giant Bomb locations and drop the Heal Spell
over those locations as their troops are headed towards the bombs. The offensive troops Heal very fast from the Bomb blast if they are in fact inside the Heal Spell's radius and within 2-34 seconds it would be as if those Giant Bombs were never even there.
Finally the most popular use for the Heal Spell is used in conjunction with the Rage Spell in the core of the defending base. The combination of the heightened attack strength and speed along with the Heal Spells ability to give those attacking troops some extra durability in the core has been helping players blast through the cores of even the toughest bases. One other point to keep in mind at all times.. there are defenses that have a firing rate that is faster than the healing pulse of the Heal Spell. The Hidden Tesla is the perfect example of this. A group of 2-4 Teslas can easily overpower the Heal Spell so in cases like that adding a Rage Spell would help push those troops through the Teslas before they turn your troops into glowing red lightning rods.

The Maxed Heal Spell is not consistent with the cost and the 14 day upgrade time that's associated with maxed troops or defenses. I would expect a Lvl7 Heal is on the way to a TH11 near you!" EZE
