It was in this moment that I had to decide to either give up the Guide or invest even more time, energy and money into the new game mode. Me being the stubborn, hard headed man that I am decided that I was not going to let all of that work go to waste. In addition to the time spent on the old guide I would also have to go back to using the other guides that I had found so many flaws in! Not gonna happen man!
After talking to my family and getting their feedback I finally decided to roll up my sleeves and get to work once again. The end result is Clash Made EZE. The site is a collection of information gathered from every open source resource I could find... the goal was to take all of the information out there and get it all in one location. I also wanted to change the focus from just getting the stats onto the site to getting what was so important to our clan on the site. What was so important your wondering? OUR WAR MATCH-UPS which comes down to War Weight, Raw Weight or Base Weight- no matter what name it was called it was what we all seemed to have such a great need for. We wanted to know what to upgrade next and why. We wanted to know why we were getting mismatches and why clans with these lopsided bases seemed to have such a dominant presence in the global war scene. We wanted to know what we could do and still be considered a "FairPlay Clan" So not only did we create an entire section of the Guide to help everyone understand their weight, we added stats on every page. No problem right? WRONG... Haha... This not only took a great deal of time to find all of the info but then to accurately display it in chart form on each page with all of the correct formulas to give the users of the site the info they need to make the best decisions for them and their clan...
As I matured as a player I was constantly asked all of those normal questions that Clan Leaders get. What to upgrade next, how much does this cost and what level does that go to. I often found myself with a guide from the Reddit of one of the many Clash Wiki's open one of my computers (yes I said one of.. I normally have 2-3 going at one time during a war!) this way I could answer any question that came up being the eager young Clan Leader that I was. It was at this time that I found out that there was quite a bit of outdated information on these sites... some of it was just wrong too. So I had the brilliant idea to create our own Guide to Clash on our website... Somewhere I could easily copy and paste info onto and quickly update myself as the new content came out with every one of SuperCells highly anticipated Game Updates. I can say now that I had NO IDEA what I was getting myself into! I finally finished the 1st Guide about 2 weeks before the latest HUGE update containing the Builder Base Game Mode came through. Once the Builder Base Update went live my nice, newly completed Guide was again incomplete!
The website Clash Made EZE also came to us from a series of events that I would have never predicted. It started off as a simple idea that the other two co-founders of Damage Inc. and I had come up with. We were engaging in Clan Wars and thought "how cool would it be if we could talk to the other clan in war!" we created a simple clan webpage with a chat room in it and posted the webpage address in our clan description. We would change the message every war inviting the other clan to our webpage. We met many interesting clans over the years using our webpage and I ended up spending a lot of time every day adding messages and other things that I though would either help the clan or enhance our overall gaming experience.

WHAT IS CLASH MADE EZE?
Excuse our little play on words... for anyone interested I will give you the 2 minute tour of our name, how the site came to be and where we are going.
To start with, I am EZE also known as Ezecuelle, leader of Damage Inc, a humble clan in the midst of tens of thousands in the game Clash of Clans. Ezecuelle is the name of my main account in Clash.
I named my 1st account after the new puppy I had just got 1-2 weeks prior to... I had hurt myself at work and decided to spend my down time playing this game that I had watched a friend of mine play everyday like clockwork. My puppy Ezecuelle (who was named after the biblical figure Ezekiel BTW) who we call Zeke is now a 170 lb. Great Dane and I am on my 3rd year in the game.
Just after starting our own clan (Damage Inc.) the guys in the clan conveniently shortened my long name to EZE which BTW is pronounced E-Z. This is where the name EZE comes from and why I believe that Clash Made EZE, it is not a name I created but a name that came to be through the evolution of my character in the game. Without the game there would not be an EZE therefor Clash... made EZE.

It is my honest opinion that the work was worth it. The end result was an easy to use all inclusive CoC guide that will not only supply the new players with all of the stats they need but it will be a resource for the old pros that want reliable and accurate information without the hassle of hunting it down from 11 different sources!

My team and I are all dedicated to updating the site whenever new "toys" come along. As SuperCell tweaks their game we will in turn tweak our site. We want you the user of the site to come here with the confidence in knowing that what we have posted is not the stats from 3 months ago. I would also like to state right from the beginning that as much as we try to get it right... it will be wrong at times. Just shoot me an e-mail and we can work together to make sure all of the info is current... That's right, I just put you on the clock! Finally We would like to thank the people that have helped us tremendously along the way. Although the majority of the data input has been done by a single (idiot if you ask me) person but without a large support group this would be nearly impossible to keep up with. As most of you know we have a guide and it is our intent to keep it s accurate as possible. As soon as we get done... another update comes along and we have to go through quite a bit a data to correct everything... the struggle... is real! Throughout the entire process there has always been one person that has been there for each and every trial and error, victory and fail.. that is the lovely Nirvana aka NirvDamage (keeping game names throughout fyi) without Nirvana there would be no EZ to EZE. Nirv helps with ongoing panning and web concepts along with doing weekly segments on EZEstreetGAMING.

Next special thanks to to co founders of Damage inc and co-creators of the Original Guide, Damage Incs' Guide to Clash of Clans. They are both great men and good friends, Howler and Romper Stomper. (regrettably neither are still with us but they will forever live on inside the Damage Family of clans.) ALM, MichaleMan and Uneek were the other original Co-leaders that migrated into Damage Inc many years ago and have been with us ever since, day after day, war after war. Thanks guys!

Next we have a pair of gentlemen that came to us about 3 years ago and have both been instrumental in the moral of the clan and myself. They are Steve and Flex Luger. Every clan needs the light hearted comedy of Steve to stay together for years on end and Flex has been featured on EZEstreetGAMING with his "FLEX ATTACK" more than any other player in our history. I really don't deserve the luxury of coming on every day to such good people, i'm lucky.

Flex Luger along with Serious Sally are also key contributors to our Damage Inc FaceBook page where we have just broke the 3,500 follower mark. I would like to thank Vaibhav for being our 1st player that joined through the website and one of the very 1st YouTube subscribers, Aneesh, a newer member for his constant work outside of the clan in his ongoing hunt to be the most knowledgeable clasher and Dave for meeting 2 members of the clan over 1000 miles from his home! That's dedication, the kind true leaders are made of.

Over the years we have met many great clans in out Joint- Clan wars. Thanks to Kneon Knight from GB Elite and the rest of the guys/ n gals from GB elite for making the game more fun for ours and giving us literally hours of videos to post on youtube. Thanks to Legion and the guys in Legion of Many, Terminator and the guys from Ultimate Goal (former) thanks to Boss with his ongoing leadership in our feeder clan Sons of Damage.

Before I sign off I just wanted to say one more thing, this goes out to all of those future leaders with great talent and ambition. We have been together for over 3 years, built this website and Youtube channel (and all the other social sites) and yes it takes a little luck but even more than luck you have to have unity and respect for eachother. As a leader you will have to make tough decisions. I have had to make some that I would have never imagined. So my suggestion is not to go at it alone. You need a partner, someone you can trust.. someone thats as dedicated to the cause as you are. I'm lucky in this regard, I have Nirv who lives with me and helps me whenever I need anything (especially on those day where I'm really hard on myself for not getting it done) but in addition to Nirv I have a gentleman named Creeper, who has given me something many others could not... a reason to keep coming back. Thanks Creeps for being a leader without ever being asked, for keeping us on track when times were tough and for keeping my moral compass pointing directly towards the hearts of everyone who depend on me.. thanks brother.

Finally I want to send a thanks and my love to my son and 4 daughters. It takes a special group of children to look up to someone who acts like a child at least 1/2 the time. They are the reason that I write "sh*t" like this. They give me hope, that one day someone with their heart will be in charge.. then I can sleep
