About the Artist

Many people have asked "how long did it take you to learn how to do what you do?" to which she has always responded the same way "My 1st try was not something I would try to show off but after that I stopped trying and just started to paint"

To answer "how long?" well that would literally be overnight.

Here is our beloved Artist and her direct family members. She wanted to share everything that holds dear to her heart on the Living Art Gallery website. Her work, her hopes for a future and her Husband, Son and Daughters all reside within this site. We kindly ask that none of the personal information is copied either digitally or manually and posted anywhere else on the internet or any other public platform.

As everything was starting to come together for our former amateur now professional Artist a drastic change started to surface in her work. This was a bit of a conundrum for her at first too! As an artist you want to have full control over what it is that you are creating. Ena had spent years perfecting her technique... she knew what time of day she was at her best. She spent a great deal of time creating the right studio that helps capture the feelings, the emotions and the raw energy that she needed to do her work every day. When she finally could tell her self honestly that she was creating these paintings at her peak performance level she found an oddity, an extra... ordinary phenomenon kept repeating itself over and over again. Once she was done with the pour, done spreading the paint out on her spinning table, done torching little cells into portions of the painting... she would put it up to dry and cure over night or a couple of days if needed. When she came back to inspect the dried painting it had changed a little, sometimes a lot.

The creation of the non profit AreYouReadyForItARTbyENA and the CCPA Box

(Covenant Creativity Personal Assistant box)

We found that if you are truly doing something that you love doing there is not much that will stand in your way in the long term of things. In the past she may have been discouraged by some of the early setbacks she has gone through. Without getting too personal we can simply state that the pandemic came to her doorstep not once but twice and she not only survived but immediately recaptured her momentum in furthering her overall knowledge and understanding of mental illness, drug addiction and how much influence the localized interactions people had in their everyday life's contributed to their ongoing struggle with their existing health issues. She became fixated on some sort of solution no matter what and finally it all came down to taking a little of all of the different influences driving her forward and combining them into a neat little package... a "Personal Assistant" for anyone in a crunch and about to loose control.

How did this all fit together? Here is the 1 minute read version. First thing she had to do in come to a realization that if her dram of helping people with her art and experiences it will all depend on getting someone to tell themselves YES I can make a difference in my own life. I don't have to depend on others to fix this. This translates into people have to be honest with themselves and have a little red flag go up when they are reaching a bad place in their mental health situation. When the trigger is present go get the Personal Assistant!

Second after studying about the human mind and how or conscious mind works in comparison with the subconscious mind and then adding what she had learned about the Law of Attraction, mainly about how we can condition our way of thinking by visualizing what it is we want to accomplish and then investing the time, emotion and positive reinforcement in the way of repetition we can start attracting what we need to accomplish our goals. So as they begin to paint they will tell themselves that they are creating instead of destroying  which is good... In addition to that during the creation process the human mind is much more susceptible to suggestion so would be the time to start training your mind that they don't have to do what they did to get by... this is a better way.

Third is happening for those using the Personal Assistant. The colors supplied in each box varies on the condition it was created to help with. A lot of time and careful planning went into the color patterns we use. the intent is to help during the creation process and again with the end result which will be a painting created by you (or the owner of the Box) with colors that can help calm or stimulate you depending on the colors.

Last is a feature that Ena spends as much time on each day as she does actually painting. Her series of personal messages, mentoring, uplifting stories told by people who have walked in (or are still in) the shoes of those who want to help themselves and think that replacing some bad in their life with some good is a step in the right direction. The Covenant Creativity Personal Assistant box... big name for a project that we have big expectations for.

Inspiration

Inspired by two people that meant the world to her, her Mother and her Son. Her Son Austin studied Art at the University of Oregon and had developed this new skill of pouring paint onto different surfaces.  I say new skill because even at a very young age he was passionate about drawing and painting... followed by creating anime characters by the hundreds as a teen. Now the young boy had grown into a young man and his creative power can take hold of you and captivate your imagination as if you were a child looking at the snow fall for the first time all over again.

of Heaven and Earth

On the Top we have the perspective of a possible underwater scene with a turtle with possible a  second turtle under the first, or by changing focus and looking at the painting with the focal point being the squirrel it changes the entire dynamics of the painting.

of Heaven and Earth

On the Right the painting took a 45 degree turn and a 100 percent difference on the way we perceive the piece. From here we see a winged heavenly creature with her large beaked head pointed straight into the open mouth of an ill willed serpent. From this perspective a number of birds have appeared.. but now take a closer look because this is what Living Art is all about. If you focus  on the wing on the edge of the left side of the painting it will take the shape of a bird, an Owl possible but as you look closer there seems to be a white baby Owl perched in front of it's mother owl. Then look directly to the right and another Owl is visible this one being brown and looking directly at the two white birds in front of him. Now change your focus one last time and the brown Owl also takes the form of the shoulders neck and head of a science fiction character from George Lucas's Star Wars by the name of Greedo (could have called it a reptilians type of humanoid but any time we can use a Star War reference we are having a good day!)

Here is another aquatic masterpiece. It has 40 or 50 images layered next to and on top of one another. Can you see the pair of fish fighting each other and right under each one is a second fight taking place between two pale skinned beings that look similar to humans. This is poured Art with a resin added to the paint giving the paintings a permanent and sturdy glassy finish to admire for years to come!

This is Ghost Ship. As the editor I get to see a lot of paintings and I will say that this is one of my all time favorites. Not of this gallery, not on this page... one of my all-time favorites.

"You mean better than Salvator Mundi that sold for over $400 million? What about that 6 Degree one? Or the card player one?"

No contest on all of them.

My favorite was the painting of the French revolution. It has lady justice climbing over her fallen countrymen and woman leading the way to free France... and not just because of the condition of her wardrobe... it was very symbolic!

There is a story to tell in this painting. I am sure everyone that looks into the world that this painting creates will have a different version of the story but I took the liberty of creating the Living Art Gallery's first sci-fi comic strip from this painting. Click HERE to check it out. Keep in mind that every picture in the comic strip comes from this painting and none of the pictures in the comic strip were altered with the exception of adding a filter on a few of them to make it more astatically pleasing to the reader.

The Ghost Ship is an amazing piece of art created by an equally amazing young man.

Thank You Austin!

Ghost Ship

These poured paintings have a very unique quality about them. Coming from someone that has a significant amount of time invested in learning about how the Human mind works a strange side effect happened. I stumbled across research that was being done on this advanced type of meditation and in order to explain the meditation research they had to explain how or what Human consciousness really is. It's described as self awareness... that we are aware that we can think and this gives us the ability to monitor ourselves and when we don't understand something we can collectively work towards figuring it out. I learned that our minds are in a constant state of building and storing therefore we are constantly recreating everything we experience.

We know we are energy that vibrates at a certain frequency that our brains translate as the Human form. Our brains also deconstruct all of the vibrating energy all around us in our 3 dimensional known universe and reconstructs it within the Human conscious and subconscious mind in a 2 dimensional storable piece of data we call memory. This is the point I am getting to. Are Humans a unique oddity in the universe, one that is in possession of this amazing instrument capable of understanding what it encounters and reconstructing all it senses outside of itself , within the mind.

To add another layer to this... our mind and body resonates a frequency of vibration, the Earth and everything around us does as well. The Sun as well as the rest of the planets do as well. So to say we are energy within a larger field of energy (earth) with a larger field of energy (Solar System) with a larger (milky way) you could say we are part of one massive living energy force (universe) we can go backwards into the extremely small as well. Our Earth has striking similarities to  the electron circling around the Protons and Neutrons making the Nucleus of an Atom (Sun and Solar System) and the Atom being part of a much larger system, (the Cell) with a ranging number in the neighborhood of 100 Trillion per cell... how many stars in the Milky Way Galaxy? Then how man cells in a human body compared the number of ... continued

The never ending LOVE of a child

You can tell alot about a person just by listening to them talk about what they want to talk about, what they feel is important in their lives. If you were to talk to the Living Art Gallery's Ena about her life and who was most influential she would tell you how her husband and children influence her desire and drive to make a difference in this world and then she would talk about a woman named Brenda. She would tell you in her own "things happen for a reason" way of Brenda's highs and lows... getting married young and then becoming a single mother with four young children because she was destined to  make more out of her life than what she had envisioned the life of a housewife would offer her.... So in the 80s with her four kids she became Buisnesswoman Brenda. She made her mark as a successful independent woman in Atlanta Georgia until she decided to become business Owner Brenda and opened her own family restaurant and bar in a small town outside of Atlanta.

As the four children hit the high school age the effects of being raised by a single parent, one that would have to choose between supporting her family by working or to spend time with them at home and constantly worry about making ends meet. So she worked and the kids did what kids do in situations like that... they raised each other when ever they had to.  Before long the youngest of the children fell out of sync with the others, tensions rose and the youngest ran and ran until she was finally placed into the state's care.

A great deal of time passes and Brenda, still owner of her local bar had her other three teenage children working for her at the restaurant. Ironically the day Brenda's youngest returned home her other three decided it was time to leave the nest and moved out and got new jobs. So there in the small town outside of Atlanta Brenda and her youngest child, that we know as Ena started a renewed relationship that would last for the rest of Brenda's life.

The Coast | Brensa M. original |the Living Art Gallery
Painted by Brenda around 2002 such a simple yet timeless painting. For some reason after learning about Brenda I look at this and see the woman sitting on the beach with a big straw hat on to block the sun as she is painting this... yes, painted at the beach not in a living room in a little town outside of Atlanta.

As time went on Ena got married, the ceremony was held inside the last business  that she owned a quaint little deli in that same little town just outside of Atlanta. Soon after that Branda became a grandmother as Ena had a son and two daughters of her own. People say that  even the worst parents can become decent grandparents but Brenda despite  her shortcomings (that I would have to say that all parents have in one way or another) was a good mother and a wonderful grandmother. She was part of her youngest daughter's everyday life and a pillar of security for both Ena and her children.

I had a good friend tell me a long time ago that life goes in cycles. There is a time in your life that everyone around you is getting pregnant and having children, getting married. The circle of friends and family grows and grows. But... one day you will see that the other part of the cycle starts to take hold and the Human's lack of immortality becomes part of your life. People from your high school or college begin to move on to the other side, older siblings, parents... the cycle of life always ends the same way he would say with a smile across his 65 year old lips.  This time had come for Brenda. She was sick but she was the only one to know how bas it really was. She spent the weekend at her daughter's house, they ate ice cream and played their favorite songs together. Ena left to get some food and she returned to her mother laying peacefully in her bed with the family photo album laying open next to her.

Painted by Brenda around 2000 and currently hanging in her daughter's bedroom wall like "it always will"

What do you do when such an important part of your life is no longer with you? There were dark and empty days and weeks  that crept into her life.  This was a loss she could not shake free from. Soon after, Brenda's estate would go through the process normally associated with the  death of the owner. Ena requested one thing. Her mother's artwork. Brenda took on painting and for the last ten years of her life became pretty good. Ena would try to share the painting interest but was too busy or distracted to appreciate the what it means to paint. After months of suffering through the feelings of intense loss she gathered her mother's artwork, her  tools used for art, the brushes, paints... everything that she could get she had with her as she sat down and set out to paint her first painting. We have a digital copy of that painting on this page next to all of her family pictures.

Today Ena paints for a living. She started to pour paint after her son showed her what he had been doing and she wanted to have more in common with him. She started a non profit because of the healing she felt after she began to paint with her mother's stuff. She started the healing process that same day. This is also a contributing factor when you look into the resolve of Ena, into why she works so hard and feels like she is just getting started.

TODAY

Ena is living her dream... painting every day.

In contrast with her dream she wants to fulfil her purpose and that is to take her life's experience and arm people that are going through what took her a long, long time to get through herself, and pass on every little detail that has helped her so much over the years. Paint and preach... a Christians dream come true!

Her advice to everyone today would be to "stay faithful to your loved ones, your friends your Heavenly Father (for any believers) and never forget yourself". Ena being a mother of 3, step mother of 2 and faithful companion to the man she married in the year 2000 knows about staying inside what she calls the greater law. Faith... in faith's absence we get the opposite known as fear... and fear sucks. You will also hear this if you spend more than 8 hours with her in the same day... "we were created with everything we need already inside us... we just have to understand that we possess it and know how and when to access it".

Hopefully this small introduction will help you understand the heart of the Artist Ena... she pours it out onto the pages of this website for all to see. She has an amazing collection for you to see, we all hope you enjoy her creations as much as we have enjoyed creating this website. It has changed everyone involved.. in a good way too! Hopefully you too will be able to say the same very soon!
