Soul searching, self-reflection and spiritual enlightenment to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, what makes you tick, why are you unique? The Hermit is wise, mature and knowledgeable. The Hermit is not anti-social but if this card is present your own company may be your best.
REVERSED-
Being secluded from the world for too long can be a bad thing. You need to bounce your crazy off of your friends and family or you might just show it to someone who will not appreciate you, your sense of humor, your intellect, your wisdom. Seclusion can create paranoia which often drives someone ever further away from other people. Reverse Hermit can symbolize that you have been found now come out and play.
Animal Spirits
When mirroring Animal Spirits something unusual happened. We were not getting a clear image in the center of the digital mirror so we angled both sides inward about ten degrees (The two sides looked like a doorway that opened away from you) When you mirror an image like this you can push the two images closer and closer and if the angle is correct the center picture is constantly changing. In this case we accidentally flipped the image so the parts usually hidden behind the image that we keep was showing and standing in the middle was The Hermit
