The Hero is one with incredible strength of either the physical, mental or emotional type. They have an insatiable desire to help the greater good no matter what personal costs there are. The Hero runs towards the gunshots, they run into the burning building. They jump overboard when someone else does. Most Hero lifestyles are not sustainable which is why many heroes are an alter ego of a much more practical person. Villains are normally the Hero type but something in their life had caused a change to take place. Often the change is not within the villain either but within those around the villain. Courage is perceived as greed. Efforts to help others is twisted into self salinification. Other times the Hero is betrayed by those who he/she was trying to help so badly that it changes the Hero.
